Who Are We?

The Prestoncrest Singles Ministries are single adults of various ages, life stages, backgrounds, experiences, hopes, questions, desires and goals.

What Are We About?

Prestoncrest Singles are committed to providing a warm and safe place to share life’s journey and experiences. Our mission is to honor God, to build up one another, and to live as disciples and ambassadors of Jesus Christ, sharing love and hope through service with people locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. We see life as an adventure of faith and discovery, seeking to grow in our authentic and meaningful relationships with Jesus Christ along side each other.

Singles Ministry Groups

Our Prestoncrest Singles Ministries include:  College/University students, B1 Singles (20 somethings), Single Purpose (30 somethings), Singles II (40 somethings), Divorce Care (those going through divorce), Beyond Divorce Care (those growing beyond the initial stages of divorce), Single-Parent Families, and Transcenders (this name will probably change).

Singles Minister

Gary Cochran has been with Prestoncrest since May 2006. He sees wonderful opportunities and possibilities for the group, both individually and as a complete group. Gary has devoted his life to ministers to others and firmly believes in the power of ONE LIFE that is fully committed to follow the ONE LIFE that revolutionized the world 2,000 years ago. He deeply believes that he’s found a home amongst the Prestoncrest Singles that are committed to Jesus Christ and living a life devoted to Him.

Before joining Prestoncrest, Gary served the A&M Church of Christ in College Station, Texas, for 17 years. He also served Mayfair Church of Christ in Oklahoma City as youth and family minister for two years. Gary has earned two masters degrees, in Biblical studies and clinical psychology. He also is a Licensed Professional Counselor and provides counseling in various areas for singles, the church and community, drawing from his experience with adolescents, families, college students, singles,  single-parent families, abused, and disadvantaged children/youth in churches, schools and troubled environments.
